Steelheads Weekly Report: Oct. 24 Royals visit Boise for 3-game set

Morning skate will be held at approximately 10:15am on game days. Media availability will be held immediately following all practices and morning skates.

Boise, ID - After four consecutive games against the Grizzlies to open the season, the Idaho Steelheads welcome the Reading Royals to Boise for a three-game series, Reading's first visit since January of 2009 when the teams split two meetings. Reading arrives winners in two of their first three games.

Player Notes:

- F Rob Linsmayer scored four points over the last two games, giving him 102 for his pro career and 100 for his Steelheads career. He is the 12th Steelhead in the ECHL era to score 100 points for Idaho.. - G Landon Bow earned his first professional win on 10/21 against the Grizzlies. - D Joe Faust has two goals in four games with Idaho after scoring three goals in his first 72 career pro games. - Faust has four points in the first four games of the season, tied for second amongst ECHL defensemen - F Kyle Jean has goals in back-to-back games

Team Notes:

- The Steelheads' eight goals against Utah were their most in a game since 12/16/15, an 8-5 win over Utah. - The Steelheads have outshot opponents 59-28 in the third period and outscored opponents 10-5 in the third period. - Idaho was 4-6-2 last season against Eastern Conference opponents. - The Steelheads have scored power play goals in three of the first four games. - Former Steelheads forward Gemel Smith made his NHL debut with the Dallas Stars on 10/22, playing 8:39 and recording a blocked shot. - Former Steelheads G Jack Campbell recalled to LA Kings from AHL Ontario, has not seen game action.
