Brampton Steelheads News Release

Third-year goaltender Jacob Ingham turned aside 32 shots as the Mississauga Steelheads took a 4-3 road win in North Bay on Sunday. Ingham earned his 56th career win in the process, the most by a Steelheads goaltender since the team transitioned from the Majors brand at the outset of the 2012-13 season.

An 18-year-old native of Barrie, Ont., Ingham improved to 23-19-2-2 on the season while owning a 3.26 goals-against average and an .895 save percentage with one shutout. The Los Angeles Kings prospect climbed ahead of Spencer Martin (2011-15) on the Steelheads' wins list.

The highest goaltender ever drafted by the Steelheads, Ingham was a second round (26th overall) pick by the club in 2016 from the Barrie Colts Minor Midgets.

While he is the Steelheads' career wins leader, Ingham trails Martin (58), Andy Chiodo (58), Justin Peters (69), Chris Carrozzi (71), and OHL career wins leader JP Anderson (126) on the all-time franchise list.
