Steelhawks Set 2011 Dance Team Auditions

Bethlehem, PA: The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks in coordination with Steel Fitness Riverport are proud to announce that auditions for the first ever Steelhawks Dance Squad will be held on Saturday, November 13th and Sunday November 14th from 3pm-6pm both days. The tryouts will be held in the upstairs fitness room at Steel Fitness located at 15 W. 2nd Street in Bethlehem.
"I was excited last month when chosen to lead this squad and represent the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks hottest new dance team," stated Dance Team Coordinator Tracey Stanton. "Growing up here in the Valley, and dancing my entire life, I know for certain that we will be able to find a plethora of talented young women to make up the first ever dance squad in team history. We want to engrain ourselves into the community, and plan to make multiple public appearances throughout the year."
Cost for the tryouts is $25 (cash only) to be paid at the door, which includes a Steelhawks t-shirt for all participants. The first day of tryouts will include learning a routine, while Day two will be the judging portion of the tryout. Appearance at both days is required. Along with Stanton, the judges will include former NFL Cheerleader Amanda Wynn, Executive Vice President Mike Clark, and Kenny Cutler representing Steel Fitness. Ladies will be judged on their dance ability, personality, and physical fitness. The twelve ladies chosen for the squad will receive perks throughout the season that include a gym membership, tanning, and hair and make-up before games.
