
Steamwheelers/Swing to Hold Home Run Derby Thursday at John O'Donnell Stadium

June 13, 2007, (Davenport, IA) - The Quad City Steamwheelers and the Swing of the Quad Cities will be holding at home run derby at 3:30 p.m. at John O'Donnell Stadium on Thursday, June 14. The competition will be between Head Coach Sean Ponder, wide receiver Kris Peters, quarterbacks J.J. Raterink and Matt Pike as well as equipment manager Darrick Reaves.
Also taking part in the Home Run Derby will be Swing of the Quad Cities manager Keith Mitchell, who has spent 18 years playing professional baseball.
The derby will start at approximately 3:30 p.m. prior to the Swing of the Quad Cities game against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
