Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth today announced that single game tickets for all eight home games during the 2004 season will go on sale tomorrow morning, Tuesday, March 23rd. The Stealth finished the 2003 season with a 4-3-1 home record and a second straight berth in the arenafootball2 playoffs.
In 2004, the Stealth will welcome three new expansion teams to the Kansas Coliseum: the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz, the Rio Grande Valley Dorados, and the Laredo Law. Laredo and Oklahoma City each make two trips to Wichita, while Rio Grande Valley will only make one appearance.
Other home opponents include the Peoria Pirates (2002 ArenaCup champions), Green Bay Blizzard (Stealth are 2-0 all-time versus the Blizzard), and the defending ArenaCup champions, the Tulsa Talons. The Stealth defeated the Talons in their last meeting at the Kansas Coliseum in a 56-49 overtime thriller on April 26, 2003 in front of the largest crowd in Stealth history.
Single game ticket prices are $25 for the lower bowl seats, $15 for middle bowl seats, and $10 for upper bowl seats. Tickets can be purchased at any Select-A-Seat location, the Kansas Coliseum box office, by calling Select-A-Seat at 316-755-SEAT (7328), or by calling the Stealth office at 316.755.3007.
All Stealth home games are played at the Kansas Coliseum (1229 E. 85th Street North, Valley Center, KS) and games begin at 7:00 p.m.
STEALTH NOTES: The Stealth will kick-off the 2004 season on April 3rd at the Kansas Coliseum when they take on the Peoria Pirates. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and season tickets are still available by calling the Stealth ticket office at 316.755.3307.
