STAR BITS...

The Stars are running into unprecedented territory while on their hot streak. The Stars reached a 10-game win streak, which not only ties the USHL season-high with Team USA's run from January 13 to February 2 but also shares the longest win streak by the Stars in the Tier I Era (2002-03), sharing the mark from Dec. 29, 2007 to Jan. 25, 2008 and from Sep. 28, 2012 to Nov. 2, 2012. The 12-game point streak is one game shy of the longest streak in the USHL this season and the longest for the Stars since 2002-03, surpassing their 11-game runs from Jan. 4, 2003 to Feb. 11, 2003 (9-0-1-1) Dec. 29, 2077 to Jan. 26, 2008 (10-0-1-0). The Stars have posted a 15-2-1-0 record in their last 18 games since January 30.
