Stars Host Buccaneers for Epilepsy Night Tomorrow
February 8, 2024 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Lincoln Stars News Release
The Lincoln Stars open up a home-and-home weekend set against the Des Moines Buccaneers tomorrow night at 7:05 at the Ice Box.
Lincoln and Des Moines are tied for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with 34 points apiece. If the season ended today, then the Stars would earn the last playoff berth by virtue of having one more regulation victory than the Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers have won both games in the season series so far and this weekend wraps up the head-to-head regular season series between the two teams. Postseason play included, the Stars are 98-64-9-4 all-time against the Buccaneers.
Tomorrow's game is Epilepsy Night. Lincoln will be wearing specialty uniforms that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the Nebraska Epilepsy Foundation.
