The Stars and the Houston Aeros meet for the third consecutive game in seven days. The Aeros claimed 4-1 and 4-3 wins on Friday and Saturday--- Iowa out-shot Houston 83 to 53 in those contests--- The back-to-back losses was just the third time this season, Iowa lost back-to-back uninterrupted home games--- The Aeros are 38-14-1-2--- Their 79 points are good for third overall in the AHL.

The Stars and the Rampage will meet for the fifth and sixth time this season on Friday and Sunday in Texas--- San Antonio is currently 27th in the 27-team AHL with a record of 16-33-1-4, 37 points. They have been outscored by their opponents, 176-103. The 73-goal differential is the largest such differential in the AHL--- Their most recent action saw them grab a 4-3 shootout victory in Peoria on Tuesday. Goalie David LeNeveu faced 53 shots in the win. The Rampage play in Milwaukee on Thursday night before they return home to host Iowa on Friday.
