Rivermen to Appear at UFS Savings Center, U.S.Cellular

Peoria, IL (February 22, 2006) - Director of Community Relations Angie Sammons of the Peoria Rivermen, the proud primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, announced today that the team has four more scheduled community appearances.

On Thursday, February 23, center Gavin Morgan and right wing Colin Hemingway will appear at UFS Savings Center (discoverUFS.com) on SW Adams from 5-6:00 p.m. for autographs and fan interaction. Earlier on Thursday, Rivermen center Blake Evans, right wings Troy Riddle and Reed Low, and defenseman Mike Stuart will visit the children involved in the Head Start preschool program at the Pekin Family Education Center.

On Tuesday, February 28, the final Rivermen community appearance of February will be the annual Peoria Rivermen Booster Club "Bowl-a-thon" from 4-6:00 p.m. at Landmark Lanes on Dries Lane. All Rivermen players and coaches will be on hand that day to raise funds for the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.

On Thursday, March 2, two Rivermen players will appear at the U.S. Cellular store at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie from 5-6:00 p.m. for autographs and fan interaction. It is the final scheduled player appearance of the season.

The Rivermen are a proud new member of the AHL. Founded in 1936, the AHL now serves as the primary development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams and is celebrating its 70th anniversary season in 2005-06.
