FREDERICK, MD - The long-awaited visit by Stanley Hudson from The Office headlines the Keys six-game homestand at Nymeo Field from Tuesday, August 6-Sunday, August 11. To go with this fun-filled night, the Keys host Cancer Awareness Night to go with two fireworks shows. For tickets, fans can visit frederickkeys.com or call 301-815-9939.
One of the jewels of the Keys 2019 promotional schedule, The Office Night is slated for August 10 at 6:00 p.m. when Frederick battles the Down East Wood Ducks. Gates open at 5, and Leslie David Baker, who played Stanley Hudson on the show will be on hand for a meet-and-greet as well as an autograph session from 5-7 p.m. To go with this, the first 1,000 fans receive a Dylan Bundy Dundie Bobblehead sponsored by Flying Dog Brewery. Fireworks follow the game also presented by Flying Dog Brewery.
The night prior (August 9), the Keys partner with the American Cancer Society on Cancer Awareness Night. First pitch is at 7:00 p.m. and Keys players and coaches will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off via the LiveSource app. On the jerseys are the names of individuals submitted by Keys fans who have been affected by cancer. Proceeds from the jersey auction go to the American Cancer Society. Fireworks follow the game presented by Community Radiology Associates and Quincy Village.
A Royal Tea Party concludes the homestand on Sunday, August 11 with first pitch at 1:00 p.m. Young fans can meet their favorite princesses and take part in a Royal Tea Party by purchasing a special groups package. Additionally, it is a Summer Reading Day with a pre-game parade presented by the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve as well as a Sunday Funday sponsored by Dogtopia of Frederick. Fans can play catch in the outfield and get autographs from select players from 12:00-12:30.
Other homestand highlights include a Flying Dog Beer Dinner in the Mattress Warehouse Club on August 6 when the Keys take on the Potomac Nationals. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and fans can enjoy a six-course meal and watch the game by purchasing a special Groups Ticket package. Then on Thursday, August 8 at 7:00 it is Frederick County Parks and Rec Night.
Upcoming promotions include Faith Night with a pregame concert by the Waterboyz for Jesus on Saturday, August 17 and Meet the Team on Sunday, August 18 to go with three fireworks shows when Frederick entertains Fayetteville. For tickets, fans can visit frederickkeys.com or call 301-815-9939.
The Frederick Keys are the Advanced-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and play their home games at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Following the 2018 season, the Keys were named the winner of the Carolina League's Complete Franchise Award. This goes to a team in the league which demonstrates franchise stability and significant contributions to its community and the league.
