(Calgary) â Today, Calgary Stampeders' Senior VP of Football Operations/Head Coach, Tom Higgins, announced the free agent signing of Linebackers Cornelius Anthony, Jude Waddy and Defensive Lineman Michael Josiah.
As per Club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
"Both Cornelius and Jude bring with them a great amount of background experience," stated Defensive Coordinator Denny Creehan. "Waddy is a very intelligent and instinctive player while Anthony is an explosive linebacker who will compete at the inside position."
"Josiah is a big, strong athlete who comes off the edge very quickly," stated Defensive Line Coach Casey Creehan. "I'm excited to have him in camp and look forward to seeing him progress on the defensive line."

College
Finished career at Texas A&M with 288 tackles, six sacks and one forced fumble ... recorded 76 tackles and two sacks as a senior ... in 1999, posted career-high 18 tackles in game against Nebraska.
