ROAD TRIP ENDS AS SKYFORCE TAKES TWO FROM STAMPEDE

The good news is that the Idaho Stampede are coming back home for four in Boise. The bad news is that they ended their five game road trip on a down note as the Sioux Falls Skyforce won 108-96 (6,1).

The Skyforce (8-5) took the first three quarters from the Stampede (6-8) but to Idaho's credit, they never gave in a battled back from down 23 at end of the third quarter to close to within 9. But the Stampede's outburst in the fourth quarter couldn't get the lead down any further and the Skyforce held on for the win.

David Jackson led all Stampede scorers with 20 points and Eric Chenowith had another double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Rodney Buford was the leading scorer for the Skyforce with 24 and Jemeil Rich dished out 16 assists. Former Stampede player Noel Felix scored 22 and brought down 9 rebounds against his former team.

The Stampede return to Boise this Tuesday, December 20 to play against the Gary Steelheads. Tip-off is at 7:10 at Qwest Arena. Remember to bring a toy for the Toys for Tots drive and receive a free ticket to the December 23 game featuring the Laker Girls.
