Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce (8-5, 53.5, 4.1) visits the Albany Patroons (4-9, 35.0, 2.7) tonight at 6:35 pm CST at the Washington Avenue Armory.

Memory Lane Tonight's visit to the Washington Avenue Armory will not be a first for the Skyforce organization. In the franchise's inaugural season (1989-90) they were defeated by the Albany Patroons 119-102 (6, 1) in front of 1,943 fans on January 2, 1990. Beginning in February of the 1989-90 season the Patroons started playing their home games at Knickerbocker Arena.
Western Dominance The western conference has been superior to the eastern conference this season as the west is 13-3 (.813) against the east. The âForce is currently 2-1 against the eastern conference, including 2-0 against the Albany Patroons. The Patroons are 0-4 against western conference. The âForce is the first western conference opponent to visit Albany this season.
Win #500 With a victory tonight, the âForce will pick up their 500th franchise victory, which includes regular season and playoffs since the teams inception back in 1989. The âForce is currently 499-451 (.525) all-time in 17 seasons. The âForce played half a season in the IBL during the 2000-01 season, and these victories are included in the âForce all-time records.
