Marlon Parmer led the Lightning to a 120-98 victory over the Michigan Mayhem with the league's first triple-double of the season.

Parmer recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds, and a team season high of 12 assists. He topped his previous season high of 11 assists, which he picked up in Saturday's victory over the Dakota Wizards.

Ronnie Fields led all Lightning scorers with 24 points in the victory, while Roger Powell finished off a spectacular week with 21 points.

Powell was recognized as the Lightning's player of the week for the second time this season as he averaged 27.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists over three Lightning victories in the fourth week of the season.

The Lightning would like to thank Freddy's Friends for coming out to help celebrate the team's 20th anniversary season in the community. Fans who were in attendance for Sunday night's game were greeted by 13 of Freddy's friends that came out to show their support for Freddy Flash and the Rockford Lightning.

This Thursday, December 22, the Lightning will finish up a six-game homestead as they take on the Michigan Mayhem for the third time this season. Tip off is set for 7:05 P.M. at the MetroCentre; kids tickets are half price, and all fans will receive a Roger Powell trading card.
