Stampede Topple Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma, December 29, 2011 - Terrico White scored 16 points in his first ever game as a member of the Idaho Stampede and Mildon Ambres added 15 points and nine rebounds as the Idaho Stampede (6-7) beat the Tulsa 66ers 95-77 at the Tulsa Convention Center.

Signed yesterday, White made 7-of-16 shots, while Paul Carter, also newly acquired, finished with eight points, a team-high 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals. David Bailey was the only starter to finish in double-figures with 10 points. Every member of the Stampede made at least two field goals and the road team out-rebounded Tulsa 50-34. The 66ers were held to just nine points in the third quarter, a season-best for Idaho's defense.

Eric Devendorf added 14 points off the bench, while Reggie Larry added seven points and eight rebounds. In all, the Stampede substitutes accounted for 60 points and 31 rebounds as nine of the 10 Stampeders totaled between 22 and 29 minutes of floor time.

Billy Rush scored 16 to lead the way for the 66ers (7-5), while Marcus Lewis grabbed 14 rebounds, a game-high.

Idaho travels to play Iowa tomorrow night in Des Moines at 6 p.m. (MST).
