
Stampede Slip up Against D-Fenders

BOISE, Idaho, February 29, 2012 - Chris Davis scored 15 points and newly-acquired Jordan Brady added 13, but the Idaho Stampede lost to the Los Angeles D-Fenders 94-72.
Idaho (14-21) scored just 13 points in the second quarter and 12 in the third as they trailed by as many as 31. Idaho committed 23 turnovers, which turned into 26 D-Fenders points. The Stampede shot just 37.5 percent on the game, making just 5-of-24 three-pointers (20.8 percent). Willie Jenkins, who was also added just earlier in the day, scored eight points; he was matched by Paul Carter, who added six rebounds, and Mikki Moore, who also totaled nine rebounds and two blocks. Tony Bobbitt had seven points and four steals.
Los Angeles (27-10) was led by Elijah Millsap, who had 27 points; Courtney Fortson added 21 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals. Orien Greene had 17 points for the D-Fenders, who played with eight players.
Idaho plays Los Angeles tomorrow again at 7 p.m. (MST).
