Stampede Acquire Jenkins, Brady

BOISE, Idaho, February 29, 2012 - The Idaho Stampede re-acquired Willie Jenkins (6-6, 222, Tennessee Tech) and acquired Brady Jordan (6-6, 220, Utah Valley University), the club announced today.

Jenkins (b. 12/20/1981) re-joins the Stampede after suffering a jaw injury on Dec. 23 at Reno. Jenkins is averaging 9.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 11 games (nine starts) with Idaho. After being drafted in the seventh round in the 2010 NBA D-League Draft, Jenkins played all 50 games (14 starts) with the Stampede and averaged 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Jordan Brady (b. 6/21/1983) joins the Stampede after playing two-plus seasons in the D-League, including two seasons with the Utah Flash from 2009-11. This season, Brady played 14 games (five starts) with the Los Angeles D-Fenders and averaged 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. In his career, Brady has played in 104 games (14 starts) and averaged 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Before playing in the D-League, Brady played two seasons for Utah Valley University, where he won NCAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2008-09.

Jenkins will suit up in jersey No. 34; Brady will wear jersey No. 24.

In order to make room on the roster, the Stampede waived Devin Green due to personal reasons, Marcus Banks due to injury and Terrico White due to injury.
