Idaho Stampede News Release

BOISE, ID (January 6, 2003) – The Idaho Stampede announced today the formation of the "Team of Tomorrow". The program will benefit both the Boys & Girls Club of Nampa, as well as Ada County.

"We're extremely excited to be able to offer the Stampede experience to these kids," said Stampede General Manager John Brunelle. "A lot of the kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs wouldn't normally be able to attend a game. We're in a position to make a positive influence on somebody's life, and we want to take advantage of that.

As part of the "Team of Tomorrow", the Boys & Girls Clubs of Nampa and Ada County will each receive 10 tickets to every Stampede home game. The recipients of the tickets will also take part in the Stampede's player introductions before the game. Micron Technology and Coca Cola sponsor the "Team of Tomorrow" program.

The Idaho Stampede returns to action Wednesday night, hosting the Yakima Sun Kings at the Idaho Center in Nampa. Tip-off is set for 7:10 pm.

Catch all the live action with Scott Johnson on KFXD AM-630, beginning at 7 PM with the Stampede Report. Also, follow the game live via the internet at www.cbahoopsonline.com, through our Dakstats live web-casting.
