St. Lucie Mets News Release
The St. Lucie Mets & the Fort Myers Miracle were supposed to complete Thursday's suspended game and then play a seven-inning game on Friday night, but the contests were postponed by heavy rains at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers.
As a result, the suspended game will be completed during the Mets next visit to Fort Myers on Tuesday, August 12, starting at 5:05 pm, and will then be followed by a seven-inning game. The two teams will then play a doubleheader the following evening, on Wednesday, August 13, also starting at 5:05. These games will be played at jetBlue Park in Fort Myers since Hammond Stadium will be unavailable due to renovations.
