Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
FORT MYERS, FL - Friday's scheduled doubleheader between the Fort Myers Miracle and St. Lucie Mets was postponed due to persistent rain and unplayable field conditions at Hammond Stadium.
The two games will be made up as a pair of doubleheaders on Tuesday, August 12 and Wednesday, August 13. The Miracle were scheduled to resume a game tonight in the top of the fifth inning that was initially started on Thursday evening. Fort Myers held a 3-2 lead when play was halted. The resumed game will be played through nine innings on August 12 with a seven inning game to follow with the first game beginning at 5:05 p.m.
On August 13, the Miracle and Mets will play two seven inning games beginning at 5:05 p.m.

The Miracle (46-30, 5-2) continue the homestand and open a three-game set with the Palm Beach Cardinals on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a Miracle cap courtesy of Earth Elements Landscaping Supply.
