S&T Bank Curve High School All-Star Classic Rosters Announced

ALTOONA- The Altoona Curve and corporate partner S&T Bank are pleased to announce the selections for the inaugural S&T Bank Altoona Curve High School Classic. The game, which will feature 30 of the top baseball players from PIAA Districts 5, 6 and 9, will be held at Blair County Ballpark on Sunday, June 22. Game time will be 2 p.m., preceding that night's 6:05 p.m. Altoona Curve game against the Bowie Baysox (AA/Baltimore Orioles).
The format for the game will be North vs. South with 15 players on each team. The Northern All-Star squad will feature players from District 9 schools and District 6 schools in Clearfield, Centre and Clinton counties. The South All-Stars will represent District 5 and District 6 schools in Blair, Cambria, Huntingdon, Indiana and Mifflin Counties.
Only graduating senior players who were nominated by their coach or athletic director were eligible for selection. Below are the All-Star selections, as voted upon by a committee of area media representatives, athletic directors, coaches and school administrators:

Coaches for the game will also be announced this week. Players will be invited to be recognized in a special on-field ceremony prior to the Curve's Sunday, June 8th home game at Blair County Ballpark, which is being sponsored by S&T Bank. There will also be special presentations made to all S&T Bank Curve High School All-Stars prior to the June 22 Curve game against the Bowie Baysox (AA/Baltimore Orioles).

Ballpark gates will open at 1:30 p.m. for the June 22nd S&T Bank Curve High School All-Star Classic and a ticket to that evening's 6:05 p.m. Curve game against the Bowie Baysox will gain fans admittance to both events.
