
Squirrels, Thunder Suspended on the Fourth

Trenton Thunder News Release
(Richmond, VA) - In game one of a four-game series from The Diamond in Richmond, VA, the Trenton Thunder and the Richmond Flying Squirrels were suspended due to rain. With the Thunder ahead 1-0, the game will resume with one out in the bottom of the second inning at 5:00 PM on Tuesday night. After the suspended game is finished, a seven-inning game will take place.
Tuesday's starter for Trenton was originally penciled-in as LHP Steve Garrison (2-4, 6.60). Richmond was scheduled to send RHP Daryl Maday (2-6, 3.84) to the mound. No pitching arrangements for the two games have been made at this point.
Games one and two of this four-game set with the Richmond Flying Squirrels will resume Tuesday night at 5:00 PM. Once again, Monday night's game will be completed, and a seven-inning contest will follow. The SBLI Pre-Game Show with Hank Fuerst begins at 4:45 PM.
