Squadron Trade for Feron Hunt

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, announced today a trade sending Justin Wright-Foreman's returning rights, along with the Squadron's second-round pick in the 2023 NBA G League Draft, to the Westchester Knicks in exchange for Feron Hunt.

Hunt, a 6-8 forward who attended SMU, appeared in two games for the New York Knicks last season and spent most of his time during the 2021-22 year with the Texas Legends, along with playing in seven games for Westchester.

In the G League, Hunt averages 18 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 blocks per contest.

As a member of the SMU Mustangs, Hunt was named Third-Team All-AAC in 2020-21 and played in the NIT the same year.

The trade is not subject to a physical.
