New York Knicks Assignments Shine in 131-111 Victory over Capital City

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, take down the Capital City Go-Go 131-111, Monday evening at Total Mortgage Arena.
The trio of New York Knicks assignments, Svi Mykhailiuk (35 PTS, 11 REBS), Miles McBride (12 PTS, 12 ASTS) and Jericho Sims (19 PTS, 16 REBS) led Westchester (5-7) on the evening. Mykhailiuk's seven steals established a new franchise-high and he also connected on four triples. McBride also drained four treys on 66.7-percent. MJ Walker (returning rights) and Quinton Rose (returning rights) each had 12 points. Garrison Brooks (affiliate) had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Capital City (6-6) credited two 20-point scorers in Jordan Schakel (24 PTS) and Craig Sword (21 PTS). Jaime Echenique put up a double-double comprised of 14 points and 12 rebounds. Davion Mintz had 10 points and a team-high seven assists.
At halftime, the Knicks were in front, 64-45, which is the second lowest they held a team to through the first two quarters.
At the end of three quarters, Westchester maintained its advantage going up 99-71 and led by as many as 33 points.
In the fourth, the Go-G0 managed to get with 16 points with just over three minutes to go but a 12-6 run to close out the game fizzled any chance of a Capital City comeback.
Westchester and Capital City face off again Monday, December 5 at 7 PM ET at Total Mortgage Arena.
