Springfield, MA. The Springfield Slam, the host team of the Greater Springfield Pro Am Basketball League (GSPABL), is scheduled to play an exhibition game against the ABA's Cape Cod Frenzy. The Slam, who are currently 2-3 in the GSPABL, feature local players such as Russ and Pat Martin, Division II All American John Williams, and forward Albert Hale, a four year captain at Emmanuel College.

The Cape Cod Frenzy are fresh off a decisive 147-122 Championship victory in the Mass Arts Premiere Pro Exposure Summer League.
