Chicago, IL. The ABA Chicago Rockstars LLC has decided to provide investment opportunities to a limited number of people seeking ownership in a professional basketball team. The Rockstars embrace the philosophy of promoting community-based, fun and affordable professional basketball with a mixed blend of quality entertainment that's unparalleled in today's professional sports. According to Marques Sullivan, team owner, "We are dedicated to fair play, good sportsmanship, and integrity both on and off the court. We are committed to making a positive impact in the Chcago area as we seek partnerships with non-profit, community-based organizations, corporations and small business to help our families, neighbors and children in need. As such, our goal is to assist the communities and the schools attain success."
Investing with the Chicago Rockstars will:
* Support youth through sports, entertainment and educational programs designed to help students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
* Promote health and wellness in predominately African-American areas in Chicago.
* Promote partnerships among schools, parents and community agencies in low-income areas to encourage participation in Chicago Rockstars events and basketball games that will provide the much-needed programs for young people and community residents.
Potential investors will also take part in The Chicago Rockstars Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization established to provide scholarship opportunities for high school students each year to attend college in pursuit of a career in sport business and entertainment business. Each student will receive partial funding for tuition, books and expenses to attend the college of their choice. A portion of our total sales revenue will go into this foundation each year.
