
Springfield Falcons Sign Forward Seth Ambroz to ATO

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons have signed forward Seth Ambroz to an amateur try-out contract, Falcons Director of Hockey Operations Bruce Landon announced today.
Ambroz, 21, just completed his senior season at the University of Minnesota, posting 12-11-23 with 34 penalty minutes and a +3 plus/minus rating in 39 contests. Over four years, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound forward skated in 159 games, accumulating 40-30-70, 135 penalty minutes and a +22 plus/minus rating.
Prior to his collegiate career, the New Prague, Minnesota native spent 2008-11 with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League, racking up 60-66-126, 295 penalty minutes and a +15 plus/minus rating in 172 appearances.
Ambroz was selected in the fifth round, 128th overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
