(BARRIE) - Mark Scheifele had a goal and three assists and Colin Behenna scored twice as the Barrie Colts beat the Spits 5-1 at the Molson Centre on Saturday night.
Kerby Rychel had the lone goal for the Spitfires (8-7-1-1), who lost their fifth straight decision.
It didn't take the Colts long to jump on the Spits, as Scheifele opened the scoring just 48 seconds into the game. Two more goals followed by the time the period was 4:14 old.
John Cullen allowed three goals on the first four shots and was pulled in favour of Jack Campbell.
Barrie had 13 powerplay chances on the night.
The game featured a massive fight in the game's final minutes with multiple players from each side on the ice.
