(Owen Sound) Three third period goals blew the game wide open, as the Spitfires dropped a 5-1 decision in Owen Sound on Sunday afternoon.
Jarrod Maidens scored twice and Gemel Smith added three assists, as the Attack (8-8-1-1) moved into a tie for fourth place in the Western Conference with the Spits (8-8-1-1).
Adrian Robertson scored the lone goal for Windsor, which dropped its sixth straight game. The Spits last won two weeks ago in Brampton.
Scott Stajcer was outstanding in goal for the hometown club, making 39 saves. Jack Campbell stopped 34 pucks in a losing cause.
The Spits host the Barrie Colts on Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.
