
Spirit Add OA Sniper Mathew Sisca to Lineup

The Spirit added a top flight scorer in Mathew Sisca to their offensive corps this weekend, sending a third round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection via trade to the Guelph Storm. The 1990-born Woodbridge, Ontario native put up 65 points, 35 goals and 30 assists, with the Guelph Storm last season. Sisca is scheduled to join the Spirit Saturday night when the team arrives in London for their game against the Knights, although his participation in the contest will be a game time decision. Additional terms of the trade were not disclosed.
Sisca is a four year veteran of the league, having a combined 62 goals and 72 assists for 134 points in 192 regular season games. He played two seasons with the Niagara IceDogs from 2007 to 2009 before putting up 35 goals and 30 assists for 65 points last season with the Guelph Storm.
