
IceDogs Host Spitfires Tonight

The Niagara IceDogs play host to the back-to-back defending Memorial Cup Champion Windsor Spitfires tonight with game time scheduled for 7:00pm at the Gatorade Garden City Complex. There are still approximately 350 seats remaining for tonight's game against the Spitfires, which is their only trip of the season to St. Catharines.
While the Spitfires may be without players like Cam Fowler and Taylor Hall from last year's team, but they still feature a great deal of talent with NHL Drafted players such as forwards Kenny Ryan (TOR) and Zack Kassian (BUF), defenceman Ryan Ellis and goaltender Jack Campbell (DAL).
The IceDogs are back on the winning track as well and tonight's game will see one of the two teams come away with a perfect weekend, with both the IceDogs and Spitfires sitting a 2-0 on the weekend.
The IceDogs once again have the OHL leading scorer, with Ryan Strome having moved back into sole possession of the OHL scoring lead with 26 points in 15 games. They also remain on top of the Eastern Conference with a 10-4-1-0 record thus far this season, having won 8 of their past 10.
