State College Spikes News Release
(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - Central PA's Best Family Value, the State College Spikes, have introduced a pair of budget-friendly ticket packages which are equally as perfect for individuals and families who love a night out at the ballpark as they are for businesses looking to reward customers, incentivize employees and enhance relationships this summer.
Half-Season Tickets are now available for the second half of the Spikes regular season home schedule and provide individuals and businesses the same exclusive list of benefits and experiences as Full-Season Ticket holders, including early entrance to the ballpark on game days, the ability to redeem unused seats for tickets to future games, membership in the brand-new "Extra Innings" Club and more.
Half-season ticket prices are $200 per seat for Diamond Club (100 Level), $180 per seat for Field Box (200 Level), $145 per seat for Bullpen Box (300 Level) and just $114 per seat in the Outfield Bleacher seating section.
The "20 for $200 Group Special" is similar to the Spikes' very popular 4 for $44 Friday offer, which combines a game ticket, hot dog and soda into one value package, but is designed for businesses, church groups, sports teams or any other group of 20 or more people. As part of this great deal, each person in the group receives a Field Box game ticket, a hot dog and a small soda for just $10 per person.
In addition, any group reserving the special 20 for $200 package can designate one person to throw out a pre-game ceremonial first pitch from the mound and the group will be announced on the video board during the game.
Additional information on both Half-Season Tickets and the 20 for $200 Group Special is available at StateCollegeSpikes.com or by calling a Spikes Ticket Specialist at (814) 272-1711 or toll-free at (877) 99-SPIKES.
The Spikes next homestand at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park will open this Thursday, July 21 with the first of two games against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Cleveland Indians' affiliate), followed by a three-game set against the Brooklyn Cyclones (New York Mets' affiliate) from Saturday the 23rd through Monday the 25th.
The homestand is headlined by several throwback nights, including a 1971 Pirates-style Spikes Jersey-Off-the-Back Auction on the 22nd, a 70s-Style Spikes Cap Giveaway on the 23rd, and an appearance by former Penn State quarterback and current NFL running back Michael Robinson on the 24th. Plus, fans will receive a First Base Replica Giveaway presented by WJAC on Thursday the 21st, celebrate Christmas in July on the 25th, and watch as FIREWORKS light up the night skies on the 22nd and 24th.
