Sparks To Conduct Training Camp April 20-May 16

The Los Angeles Sparks will conduct training camp from Sunday, April 20 through Friday, May 16.
The Sparks open their pre-season schedule by playing the inaugural game for the Atlanta Dream, the newest WNBA franchise, on May 3 in Atlanta. It will mark the return to WNBA action of Lisa Leslie, who sat out the 2007 season due to the birth of her first child. The Sparks take on the Chicago Sky on May 8 in Chicago. The Sparks conclude their pre-season tour at Grand Forks, N.D. against the Minnesota Lynx on May 11.
The Sparks open the 2008 WNBA regular season at the Phoenix Mercury on May 17. After a five-game opening trip, the Sparks' home opener is Friday, June 6 at STAPLES Center against the Mercury. For Sparks' season ticket information, call 1-877-44-SPARKS.
