
Sparks announce Training Camp schedule and roster

EL SEGUNDO, CA- The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the 2006 Training Camp schedule and roster. Training Camp will begin on Sunday, April 23rd at the Toyota Sports Center. Two practices are scheduled each day: 10am-1pm and 6pm-8pm. In addition to practices at the Toyota Sports Center, the Sparks will also be traveling to Saint Mary's Academy in Inglewood, CA. The Sparks welcome back seven veteran players and are excited to introduce the 5th overall pick in the 2006 WNBA Draft, Lisa Willis.
The Sparks will ignite their 10th Anniversary Season in Seattle on May 21st against the Storm. The team will host the Detroit Fever on June 7th at 7:30pm with their home opener at STAPLES Center. Tickets are available at the STAPLES Center box office, all Ticketmaster locations or by visiting the Sparks website at www.lasparks.com.
