Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
The Sky Sox lost 6-4 to the Omaha Royals Tuesday night at Sky Sox Stadium. Sox starter Randy Flores pitched 4.2 innings giving up all 5 of the Royals runs while striking out 5 and walking 4. The Sox offense was led by Kit Pellow who was 2-4 on the night, hitting his team leading 17th home run of the year. The Sox and Royals will face each other again Wednesday night with Chris Gissell (4-6) taking the mound for the Sox against the Royals Ryan Baerlocher (4-6).
