Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
The Sky Sox lost their 4th straight game on Monday night 5-1 to the Nashville Sounds. The Sky Sox offense remained nonexistent scoring only 1 run on 6 hits. During the Sox 4-game losing streak the Sox have managed to score only 4 runs on a meager 17 hits. Choo Freeman hit his 5th home run of the year Monday night scoring the only run for the Sox. Sox starter Jason Young pitched 6.2 innings giving up 10 hits and allowing 5 runs, 4 earned. The Sox and Sounds will meet again tonight for the final game of their series in Nashville. The Sox will send Cory Vance (8-5, 4.00) to the mound to try to stop the bleeding against the Sounds John Wasdin (7-3, 3.49).
