Sox bats remain cold as Sox lose 3rd straight

The Sky Sox lost their 3rd game in a row on Sunday, 1-3 to the Nashville Sounds. The Sox offense continued to struggle Sunday night scoring only 1 run, a 1st inning home run by Garrett Atkins, on two hits. Aaron Cook made his first start of the season for the Sox, pitching 7 strong innings allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. These two teams will square off again tonight in Nashville with Sox sending Jason Young (5-2, 3.29) to the mound against the Sounds Matt Guerrier (2-5, 4.65).
