Nashville Sounds News Release
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds have partnered with Strategic Hospitality and announced today the addition of a one-time "Paradise at the Park" promotion for their game against the Memphis Redbirds on Saturday, September 1 at First Tennessee Park.
The good-natured tribute to the beloved Broadway bar owned by Strategic Hospitality - also responsible for The Band Box - will feature live music performed by the band "The Otherside," as well as $6 Natural Light beer specials and Paradise Park's famous hand-dipped corn dog and grilled cheese and tots available only at The Band Box. There will also be a Paradise Park merchandise table for fans who were unable to get apparel before the doors closed on July 28.
"Paradise Park was the epitome of a good time," said Adam Nuse, General Manager of the Nashville Sounds. "Having this promotion at a game to marry the fun of Paradise Park and electric atmosphere at First Tennessee Park and The Band Box is the perfect combination, especially on a holiday weekend."
Fans can buy a special package for only $25 that includes one general admission ticket to the Sounds and Redbirds game on September 1, a 32 oz. Natural Light Paradise Park souvenir pitcher ($6 refills), and one voucher for a free Paradise Park corn dog or grilled cheese and tots dish offered only at The Band Box.
Fans who do not purchase the package ahead of time can purchase separate $6 32 oz. Natural Light souvenir pitchers while supplies last. Paradise Park's corn dog and grilled cheese, both served with tots, will also be available for separate purchase for $10.
Paradise Park Trailer Resort was opened in 2007 in the space at 411 Broadway by brothers and restaurateurs Benjamin and Max Goldberg. After 11 successful years, the bar closed in late July to make way for a new concept by Strategic Hospitality expected to open in 2019.
The 2018 season is the Sounds' 41st in franchise history and fourth as the Oakland Athletics' top affiliate. Single-game tickets are available now by calling (615) 690-4487 or by visiting www.nashvillesounds.com.
