Sounds Donate $1,500 To Ronald McDonald House Of Nashville

June 3, 2006 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Nashville Sounds News Release

The Nashville Sounds will make a $1,500 donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville following a game-used jersey auction held during the team's 8-4 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes on Saturday evening at Greer Stadium.

The Sounds were outfitted in special retro jerseys in the style of the Milwaukee Brewers -- their Major League affiliate -- of the early 1980s.

During the game, fans made bids on the 26 player and coach jerseys in a silent auction, with all profits going to the charitable organization.

Outfielder Tony Gwynn's jersey drew the highest sale price, going for a bid of $300.
