Sounders FC Travels to St. Louis CITY SC in Regular-Season Finale

SEATTLE, WASH. - Following a week off from competitive action, Seattle Sounders FC hits the road for a Decision Day matchup against St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, October 21 at CITYPARK (6:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV - Watch Free, iHeart.com, El Rey 1360 AM).

Having already secured a spot in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs, a win or draw at St. Louis would secure home-field advantage for Seattle in Round One of the postseason. Seattle can also secure home-field advantage with a Houston Dynamo loss or draw combined with a Real Salt Lake loss or draw or a Vancouver loss or draw, or a Vancouver loss or draw combined with a Real Salt lake loss or draw.

The Rave Green currently sit in third place in the Western Conference, one point below LAFC and two points above Houston Dynamo FC. St. Louis has already locked up first place in the Western Conference.

With St. Louis joining MLS this year, the two sides have only met one previous time, a 3-0 win for Sounders FC on April 8 on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field.

Following Saturday's match, Seattle turns its focus to the playoffs, with the opponent, date and time of its Round One matchup to be determined after all matches on Decision Day are completed.
