Sounders FC Announces Date Change for Road Match at the Columbus Crew

RENTON, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC today announced its road match against the Columbus Crew has been moved to Saturday, September 7 (4:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, iHeartMedia Seattle, El Rey 1360 AM). Originally scheduled for June 1, the contest has been moved due to Columbus participating in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Final. The fixture will still be played at Lower.com Field.
Following a scoreless draw with the LA Galaxy on Sunday, Brian Schmetzer's side now begins its 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup campaign on Wednesday, May 8 against Louisville City FC at Starfire Stadium (7:30 p.m. PT / USOpenCup.com, 950 KJR AM), before traveling south to face archrival Portland Timbers on Sunday, May 12 at Providence Park (1:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, FOX, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
