Sounders FC Announce First Kick and Match Day Activities

RENTON, Wash. - Seattle Sounders FC fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early for the Sounders FC versus Montreal Impact match on Saturday, March 2. The CenturyLink Field gates open at 6 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Other activities include the following:

Friday, March 1

2:30-4:30 p.m. - Track the flight of the 30' x 100' Sounders FC scarf.

The scarf will fly over Seattle and Bellevue pending amenable weather. Fans are encouraged to share sightings and images via Twitter using the following hash tags: #SoundersRave and #ScarvesUp.

Saturday, March 2

5:45 p.m. - Chipotle "Chips & Guac" give-a-way in Occidental Park

Chipotle will provide complimentary "Chips & Guac" to the first 500 fans that present their MatchPass or match tickets. Chipotle "Chips & Guac" are made fresh every day, with a squeeze of real lime and kosher salt. Guacamole is made from perfectly ripe avocados, and hand mashed, up to three times a day

5:50 p.m. - Crème Tangerine, a Seattle cover band, will perform in Occidental Park.

6 p.m. - CenturyLink Field ticket gates open.

The first 25,000 fans will receive a 2013 Sounders FC schedule magnet, courtesy of Xbox.

Soccer Celebration is the name for all pre-match fan related activities. These activities are located outside the northwest gate, within the North Plaza and continue throughout the CenturyLink Field Plaza. Activities include inflatable games, face painting, hair painting, music and more. Soccer Celebration activities conclude at kickoff.

PEMCO Insurance will provide themed Sounders FC foosball tables in Soccer Celebration. Winners will have the opportunity to go to Starfire Sports to play against Sounders FC players.

Washington's Lottery provides fans an opportunity to play "Man of the Match" for a chance to win a seat on the Lottery sideline couch. Each winner will receive complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages during the match, and a Sounders FC jersey. Man of the Match booths are located near sections 106, 121 and 139.

The Pro Shop at CenturyLink Field is closed through mid-June for remodel and expansion in order to offer Sounders FC fans more product choices and a speedier checkout. During the expansion, temporary retail kiosks will be open in the following locations: outside entrance of the CenturyLink Field Event Center on Occidental Avenue, North Plaza, and the north and south ends of the CenturyLink Field Plaza.

6-7 p.m. - MatchPass holders are eligible to purchase a pre-match meal for $10, domestic beers for $5 and craft pints for $6 at CenturyLink Field concessions

6:30 p.m. - "March to the Match" departs from Occidental Park in Pioneer Square.

7:20 p.m. - Opening Ceremonies for 2013 MLS season begin on the Xbox Pitch.

7:30 p.m. - First kick; Sounders FC versus Montreal Impact

Sounders FC fans will continue to win prizes based on team performance, in addition to other partner promotions which include the following:

Sounders FC fans will receive a free haircut at Great Clips each time the team scores three (3) or more goals. Fans can also register online to win a Great Clips VIP experience which includes tickets to a Sounders FC match and pre-match sideline tour.

With A Sounders FC shutout (home or away), Sounders FC fans will win two (2) free tacos. Fans will be required to show their MatchPass, match day ticket or print the coupon online at SoundersFC.com in order to redeem at any participating Jack in the Box location, (no purchase necessary).

If the Sounders win, all fans will receive 50% off one regular priced pizza. Fans can apply the discount to pizza ordered online at www.PapaJohns.com .

If the Sounders FC score in first or final five (5) minutes of the match, Museum Quality Framing will provide all fans attending the match a $20 gift certificate.

SUBWAY© Restaurants of Western Washington will provide 8,000 "SUBWAY© Yellow Cards" to Sounders FC fans at every home match to encourage positive on-field behavior. Each Yellow Card includes an exclusive coupon.
