Star of TNT's Dallas, Jesse Metcalfe, Joins FC Dallas Opening Day Festivities on March 2

FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013) - Jesse Metcalfe, star of TNT's Dallas, will help FC Dallas open the 2013 Major League Soccer season as the traditional honorary scarfer of the Lamar Hunt statue before kickoff of the season opener presented by AdvoCare on Saturday, March 2.

Metcalfe and FC Dallas have teamed to support North Texas Food Bank with a special ticket offer here . A portion of proceeds from tickets purchased through the link will go back to the food bank (up to $10 per ticket).

The game versus Colorado will also feature postgame fireworks and is slated to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT at FC Dallas Stadium. The scarfing ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. on the North Concourse.

For the second season, the popular Lamar's Tailgate is back on the North Concourse with a DJ and the Budweiser Build-a-Bar, as well as new concessions such as CiCi's Pizza. Fans can also check out the newly expanded Budweiser Beer Garden, featuring beer specials, or get an up-close look at Austin Dillon's AdvoCare No. 3 Nascar Nationwide Series Show Car.

FC Dallas is also introducing Club 96 on the Northwest Plaza Terrace, a new private, premium location for adults 21 and up. Club 96 will feature a full-service bar, televisions, fans/shade and food.
