Sounders FC Announce First Kick and Match Day Activities

RENTON, Wash. -Sounders FC fans are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early for the Sounders FC vs. Toronto FC match on Saturday, March 17. The CenturyLink Field gates open at 5:30 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Other match day activities include the following:

All Day Wing Dome will provide a complimentary order of garlic wonder fries to any fan wearing Sounders FC attire on March 17.

12:30-3:30 p.m. Track the flight of the 30' x 100' Sounders FC scarf.

The scarf will fly over Seattle and Bellevue pending amenable weather. Fans are encouraged to share sightings and images via Twitter using the following hash tags: #SoundersReady and #ScarvesUp.

5:00 p.m. First 500 ticketed fans will receive complimentary hot dogs in Occidental Park.

5:30 p.m. CenturyLink Field ticket gates open.

The first 25,000 fans will receive Kinect(TM) for Xbox 360 Schedule Magnets and one (1) month free Xbox LIVE subscription cards.

Soccer Celebration activities are located at the Northwest Gate; continue inside the stadium at the North Plaza and throughout the CenturyLink Field Plaza. Activities include inflatable games, face painting, hair painting, music and more. Soccer Celebration activities conclude at kickoff.

5:30-6:30 p.m. Season Ticket Membership card holders will receive a 20% discount on food and beverage purchases at CenturyLink Field concessions. Alcohol is excluded.

5:58 p.m. "March to the Match departs from Occidental Park in Pioneer Square.

6:50 p.m. Opening Ceremonies for 2012 MLS season begin on the field.

7:00 p.m. Kickoff

Sounders FC fans will continue to win prizes based on team performance, in addition to other partner promotions which include the following:

* Sounders FC fans will receive a free haircut at Great Clips each time the team scores three (3) or more goals. Fans can also register online to win a Great Clips VIP experience which includes tickets to a Sounders FC match and pre-match sideline tour.

* With a Sounders FC shutout, Sounders FC fans will win two (2) free tacos at participating Jack in the Box locations.

* If the Sounders win, all fans will receive 50% off one regular priced pizza. Fans can apply the discount to pizza ordered online at www.PapaJohns.com v6cWaYtNG4rLK8N8ckfg].

* If the Sounders FC score in first or final five (5) minutes of the match, Museum Quality Framing will provide all fans attending the match a $20 gift certificate.

* PEMCO Insurance will provide themed Sounders FC foosball tables in Soccer Celebration where fans can compete. Winners will have the opportunity to go to Starfire Sports to play against Sounders FC players.

* SUBWAY© will provide 8,000 "SUBWAY© yellow cards" to Sounders FC fans at every home match to encourage positive on-field behavior. Each Yellow Card includes an exclusive coupon.

* Each match one lucky fan is selected from the Hyundai booth at Soccer Celebration to participate in the Hyundai pre-match "Kick to Win" contest on the field. The fan is invited to kick a soccer ball through the driver side window of a Hyundai Sonata, if successful; they will win 2013 Sounders FC season tickets.

* Washington's Lottery provides fans an opportunity to name the "Man of the Match" for a chance to win prizes like watching a match from a sideline couch and being an on-field honorary photographer. Man of the Match booths are located near sections 106, 121 and 139.
