
Sound Tigers Sign Vaughan to 2014-15 Deal

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 10, 2014) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced that Scooter Vaughan has been signed to a professional tryout contract (PTO) for the remainder of the 2013-14 season and an AHL contract for the 2014-15 season.
Vaughan, 25, has 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 46 games for the Sound Tigers this season and has seen time at both forward and defense. He signed his first PTO with the Sound Tigers this season Dec. 12, 2013 and has remained with the team all season. The Placentia, Calif., native played in 20 games for the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) this season and scored eight points (two goals, six assists). He has a total of 90 games ECHL experience over the last three seasons with South Carolina and the Wheeling Nailers and has 34 points (nine goals, 25 assists). Vaughan was also a four-year player at the University of Michigan from 2007-2011.
