
Worcester Sharks Host 4th Annual Job Fair on April 18 at DCU Center

Worcester, MA - The Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks), proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) along with The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development has announced today that the Workforce Central Career Center of Worcester, Milford, and Southbridge will partner with the Worcester Sharks on Friday, April 18, 2014 to host the 4th annual Job Fair before the Sharks host the St. John's IceCaps at the DCU Center.
Employers from across the Commonwealth will gather at Worcester's DCU Center from 1p.m. - 5p.m. to meet with hundreds of job seekers looking for their next career opportunity. Admission to the job fair is FREE and job seekers from across the Commonwealth are welcome. The fair will feature employers from across the Commonwealth with over 2,000 job opportunities in healthcare, bioresearch, education, software engineering, manufacturing, construction, retail, and more.
"The Sharks have welcomed over 5,000 job seekers at the job fair over the last three seasons," said Worcester Sharks Director of Public Relations Eric Lindquist. "It has been a great partnership with the Workforce Central Career Center for this event and we are expecting another large turnout on the 18th."
As an added bonus, all job fair attendees on April 18 will be offered A BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE TICKET OFFER for the Sharks game that evening versus the St. John's IceCaps at 7:30p.m. As with every Friday night home game, enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, and sodas for just $2!
