
Anaheim Assigns Theodore to Norfolk

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Anaheim Ducks announced Thursday that the team has reassigned defenseman Shea Theodore to their primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL), the Norfolk Admirals, from the Western Hockey League's (WHL) Seattle Thunderbirds.
Theodore, 18, just finished four seasons with Seattle of the WHL from 2010-2014. He skated in 214 games with Seattle, recording 45 goals, 119 assists and 101 penalty minutes. Shea completed the 2013-14 WHL regular season as the top scoring defenseman in the entire league with 22 goals and 79 points in 70 games.
Anaheim drafted the Aldergrove, British Columbia native in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft with the 26th pick overall. Theodore represented Canada in the 2013 U18 World Junior Championship where the Canadians took gold.
Central Scouting ranked the 6-2, 175-pound blue-liner 11th amongst North American skaters heading into the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
