Sound Tigers Sign Brandon Gentile to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Jan. 12, 2011) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today they have signed defenseman Brandon Gentile to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Gentile, 24, joins the Sound Tigers after appearing in 33 games with the Alaska Aces of the East Coast Hockey League where he shows two goals and 10 assists this season. Gentile turned pro in 2009 following a four-year collegiate career at Michigan State University where he recorded 16 assists in 135 games.

Now in his third full professional season, the Clarkson, MI native has totaled 12 goals and 39 assists in 150 games.
