IceCaps Re-Assign Maxwell to Eagles

The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have re-assigned forward Tommy Maxwell to the Colorado Eagles.

Maxwell, 26, played in four games with the IceCaps since his recall on Dec. 5/11. During that time, the right-winger racked up 10 penalty minutes.

He has also appeared in 15 games with the Eagles this season earning five points (1g, 4a) and 69 penalty minutes. Since 2008-09, the Spokane, WA native appeared in 142 games with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League. In that time, he collected 20 points (7g, 13a) while racking up 388 penalty minutes. His total penalty minutes in 2009-10 was the fifth highest season total in Moose franchise history.
