Sound Tigers Release Wiles from PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Mar. 25, 2013) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced they have released forward Sean Wiles from his professional tryout contract (PTO).

Wiles, 25, scored in his AHL debut with the Sound Tigers on Friday night in a 3-1 loss at Providence. The Beloit, WI native also recorded two assists in the Sound Tigers 4-2 win over Albany on Sunday afternoon.

The 6'3, 203-pound forward returns to the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL where he leads the team with 25 goals in 59 games.

The Sound Tigers begin a three-game road swing on Thursday night when they travel to the MassMutual Center in Springfield to face the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The Sound Tigers return to Webster Bank Arena on Saturday, Apr. 6 to square off against the in-state rival Connecticut Whale.
